Privacy Policy

Photos and videos are processed locally in your browser unless the implementation changes in the future.

Media files are not intentionally uploaded to or stored on the service’s servers.

To understand how the tool is used and where it fails, the service records anonymous product usage events in its own backend. Events are not linked to an account, an advertising identifier, or any profile.

Each event may include:

• A random session identifier generated per browser tab and kept only in sessionStorage
• The event name (for example: a visit, a file selection, a processing attempt)
• Selected media category (photo or video)
• File format category (for example: jpg, heic, mov, mp4)
• File size range and video duration range as broad buckets, never exact values
• Success or failure and a generic error code
• Processing duration in milliseconds
• Platform, device category, and browser category
• Approximate country or region
• Referring source category and campaign parameters when present in the link
• The page path within this service

Analytics never contain:

• The media file
• The visual or audio content
• Exact filenames
• Generated UUIDs
• Injected metadata values
• EXIF or QuickTime metadata values
• Location data from your media
• File hashes
• Personal content extracted from media

Analytics are collected on a best-effort basis. If collection fails, processing continues normally. Aggregated analytics can be viewed only by the service owner through a private, password-protected dashboard.

The service uses your browser’s sessionStorage to remember how many times a file with the same name has been processed during the current session, so generated downloads can be numbered. This data stays in your browser and is cleared when the tab or session ends.

The anonymous analytics session identifier described above is also stored in sessionStorage only, and a new one is created for each new tab or session.

If preferences, beta settings, or consent choices are stored in the future, they will be described here.

No analytics, error reporting, or email providers are currently configured. Any provider added in the future will be listed here.
